Article 54.

Separate Act shall determine the office of the Defender of the People, as the high commissioner of the Cortes Generales, appointed by the latter to defend the rights included in this part of the Constitution, for which purpose he may supervise the activity of the Administration, reporting to the Cortes Generales.
